The 2016 1930 Indiana Puzzle Quilt Garden celebrates Indiana's bicentennial.  The quilt garden was planted and managed by Carolyn and Christy Miller and Ida Weaver, an owner of Weaver Furniture Sales.  Weaver Furniture Sales has participated in the The Quilt Gardens.. along the Heritage Trail in Northern Indiana since 2011.  The entire quilt garden tour consists of seven different communities in Northern Indiana’s Amish Country and 100,000+ glorious blooms.  Please take some time this summer and travel along the Heritage Trail in Northern Indiana Amish Country to view the Quilt Gardens.

Visitors to the Weaver Furniture Sales quilt garden will have a platform from which to view and capture the beauty of the 1930 Indiana Puzzle Quilt Garden. The garden represents one of three unique Indiana Puzzle quilt designs. Innovative American quilt designer Ruby McKim designed this version of the Indiana Puzzle. Ms. Kim designed her first quilt pattern for the Kansas City Star in 1916 and became one of the Star's three quilt illustrators. The garden is maintained by Miller, her husband Christy, Ida Weaver (owner of Weaver Furniture Sales) and Ruth Miller. We invite you to visit us in Shipshewana, Indiana this summer and browse through the large Shipshewana Amish Furniture Store filled with handcrafted Amish furniture, gifts and home accessories.

The furniture store is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm. but the quilt gardens along the Heritage Trail are open to enjoy 24 hours per day seven days per week through October 1st. The Quilt Gardens along the Heritage Trail have been named a Top 100 Event by the American Bus Association.
