Welcome to the Weaver Furniture Sales website.  I am Marty Weaver, one of LeRoy and Ida's five sons.  I have been involved in the Weaver Furniture Sales family business on a limited basis since my days in high school.  From deliveries to sales to bookkeeping and payroll, I helped out in the furniture store where possible as is typical in a small, growing family furniture business.  In 2005 I made a career change and joined the family furniture business.  Here is a brief work history that led to my joining Weaver Furniture Sales in 2005. First, there was the family farm.  Growing up on an Amish farm in Shipshewana Indiana dictated what I would do for a first job at an early age in life - work on the family farm taking care such tasks as milking cows, plowing with horses, feeding calves, husking corn by hand and cleaning the barn are just a few of the common chores that I experienced.  Next, in an effort to get involved in things other than the family farm, I started work at Das Dutchman Essenhaus, a restaurant specializing in Amish cooking near my home, where I worked for more than ten years on a full and part-time basis (depending on the season) from junior high school all the way through my college years.

After obtaining an Accounting degree from Indiana University and enjoying Bob Knight's basketball teams at IU, I started a career in public accounting focusing on a tax specialty.  Initially, I worked for one of the largest accounting firms in the world and then went on to co-found Veros Partners, a Business Consulting and Wealth Management firm.  With the tax specialty, I assisted a lot of small businesses and individuals in the areas of tax, personal finance, accounting and general business and financial matters.  After resigning from my position as Managing Partner and shareholder of Veros Partners, I joined Weaver Furniture Sales where I have taken the lead role in the development of the company website and marketing efforts. 

Weaver Furniture Sales now operates its retail furniture showroom out of the same barn where I started my first career - on the family farm.  Weaver Furniture Sales has made a commitment to increase the service to our customers by developing a website that has information about our furniture products and giving our customers the ability to purchase furniture from the comforts of their own home.  While this commitment has not been fully realized, our website contains a wealth of information about our products and visitors have the opportunity to purchase items directly from our site.  On our website you will find a lot of the products that can be found in our furniture store in Shipshewana Indiana.  More products and product information is added to our website daily.  At Weaver Furniture Sales our focus remains on our customers where our sole purpose is to provide Quality Furniture at Reasonable prices.  Please Contact us with any questions that you have about any of our products or our furniture store.
