Seasonal Events in Shipshewana
This holiday season, as the chilly weather reddens our cheeks and the first snow amazes with its beauty, spend a weekend with friends and family in the town of Shipshewana. Which is playing host to a variety of seasonal events. On November 9th, 2019 downtown Shipshewana will host the Christmas Light Parade to jump-start the holiday season. A live nativity scene, Christmas carolers and Santa himself will highlight this event.
Thinking it can’t get better then this? On November 16th, 2019 Shipshewana will celebrate “Chocolate Day”. That’s right, “Chocolate Day”. Purchase a box at Aunt Millie’s Candy and Nuts. Then stroll throughout Shipshewana filling the box with delectable sweets as you go. For the family with children, the Hostetler Hudson Museum will play host to the “Christmas Tree Stroll” and Shipshewana will host the “Santa Hunt”, challenging you to find the hidden Santa and a chance to win free prizes. Be sure to stop by Weaver’s to see our Amish furniture and say hello!
