The Beauty Of Lyptus Wood
The Beauty Of Lyptus Wood. In the past decade, Lyptus wood has become an increasingly popular choice for flooring, cabinetry and furniture craftsmanship. Yet many are unsure what exactly “Lyptus” is.
Lyptus wood is a hybrid blend of two Eucalyptus trees grown in Brazil. The Eucalyptus tree grows incredibly fast, 14-16 years from planting to harvest. Therefore resulting in forests that are exponentially more productive than the typical temperate forest. As a result, an “ecofriendly” growing process helps avoid the problem of deforestation so common in Brazil. As well as helps to restore and repopulate the ravaged forest ecosystem.
In addition to the availability and sustainability of Lyptus wood, its beauty is a compelling factor that contributes to its growing popularity. Lyptus is similar to Cherry and Mahogany in appearance, but with an exotic flair.
