Weaver Furniture Shipping Information
Weaver Furniture Sales offers two different shipping options (CURBSIDE DELIVERY and CURBSIDE DELIVERY plus IN HOME SETUP) for our customers. Please call us at 1.877.357.2106 to obtain a quote for CURBSIDE DELIVERY charges and IN HOME Setup charges when you know which items you will need to have shipped to your home.
Both our company trucks and third party shippers are utilized to deliver furniture to our customers. The furniture is either professionally packaged or blanket wrapped and secured with tie-down straps for protection while it is being transported.
Our delivery team primarily makes deliveries within about a 200 mile radius of Weaver Furniture Sales (Shipshewana, IN). We also deliver furniture across the Continental United States utilizing third party shipping companies. From time to time other shipping methods such as Fedex or UPS will be used when appropriate (based primarily on the size of the order). Each shipping party that Weaver Furniture Sales utilizes has slightly different policies and procedures with respect to delivery. If you have any concern regarding these policies please call us and we can direct you to more information about the shipping company used for your piece(s). In all cases, the furniture is insured and satisfaction is guaranteed.
Once an order has been completed and the customer has received confirmation their order is available, pick up of furniture must occur within 14 days. Special arrangements must be made if pickup cannot be completed by the 14th day. Storage fees will apply.
You must be at your home during your scheduled delivery time in order to avoid a re-delivery charge of $50.00 plus twice the original delivery fees.
The customer must have someone on hand at delivery to provide assistance to the driver during unloading. It is the customer’s responsibility to take the furniture from the truck on the curbside. Additional people may be required depending on the size of the order being delivered. Extra charges will apply if the customer requests to have the shipment carried inside the home.
After unloading and before the driver leaves, the customer should inspect the furniture for damage. Product damage is rare, however, if damage is found, the customer should note the damage in the appropriate box on the Delivery Receipt (provided by the driver) and then sign. Contact Weaver Furniture Sales immediately and a claim will be filed. (Note: If there are any tears, indentations or holes on the exterior of the package, but no damage is found, the customer should still note on the Delivery Receipt that the packaging contained holes and/or tears.) The delivery time for the Curbside Delivery method is typically 10 – 14 business days. This delivery method is less expensive than the Curbside Delivery plus IN HOME SETUP method.
Our customers are called to schedule a delivery after the furniture order is completed. The delivery will be made with at least two people. The two individuals will carry the furniture to the room(s) requested and set up the furniture (i.e., assemble beds, place hutch tops on hutch bases, etc.).
After unloading and before the drivers leave, the customer should inspect the furniture for damage . Product damage is rare, however, if damage is found the customer should note the damage in the appropriate box on the Delivery Receipt (provided by the driver) and then sign. Contact Weaver Furniture Sales immediately and a claim will be filed. The delivery time for the Inside Delivery with Set Up method is 14 – 21 business days. This delivery method is more expensive than the Curbside Delivery method.
